Bratwurstherzl 29 51 13, Dreifaltigkeitsplatz 1 (U & S Marienplatz). Daily 10-23 (meals until 21:30, grill until 22:30) closed Sun. and holidays. Excellent Bavarian cuisine at this small eatery hidden in the Viktualienmarkt.. Specialties include Nuremburger sausages made on site and Hacker-Pschorr beer served from a wooden barrel, charming interior and menu in English, mostly English-speaking staff. IN-M
Georgenhof 39 31 01, Friedrichstr. 1, corner of Georgenstr. (U3/6 Giselastr.). Daily 12-1. Fine Bavarian cuisine in a rustic atmosphere. Fresh fish, game or meat is prepared over a charcoal grill in the middle of the restaurant so guests can watch the cooks at work. The grilled rabbit is an excellent choice for dinner, or stop in and quench your thirst in the beer garden. Menu changes daily. Hirschgarten 17 25 91 Hirschgarten 1 (All S Bahns to Laim) Bavaria’s largest beer garden with seating for more than 3,000 patrons. Large deer pen flanks this Augustiner Edelstoff-serving beer oasis. Huge playgrounds surround the gastronomic area. Extensive menu than most beer gardens, grilling area for parties and picnics. M
